FTDC Case Study

The Brief

Flamethrowers & Dreamcatchers is a unique role-playing game adapted for children by
professionally trained teachers, writers and actors. It is a holiday/after school club for 8-13 year old
kids to play, learn and have fun.

They wanted us to help raise awareness of the proposition and sell tickets by working with them to
boost their online social presence.

What We Did

With the need to appeal to kids and their parents alike we created a social media campaign to bring
to life the fun, imagination and educational value of the games.


The client was keen to ensure that the company’s principle of good games being good for the soul was at the heart of the activity. We achieved this by constantly updating a minimum of 3 posts per week with fresh and new creative appealing to both target audiences.

The Results

Initial results have been fantastic. The website traffic is up by 127%, social media engagements are
up 3,075% while followers and impressions are up by 143% and 2,254% respectively. Their Easter
camp sold out within days.
